Practice 02

Technology & Product

The builders who turn an ambitious roadmap into something customers adopt, renew, and tell other people about. We recruit engineering and product talent for companies where the product itself is the differentiator.

Roles we place

From first engineer to the leader who scales the org.

We're not a volume engineering agency. We work the roles where the wrong hire costs you a roadmap year: the first in a function, the leader above a team that already exists, or the specialist nobody in-house can interview properly.

AI & Platform Engineering

Engineers who translate ambitious product vision into reliable, differentiated technology customers want to adopt. We screen for people who've shipped to real users, not only prototyped.

Engineering Leadership

CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and first engineering managers who can ship on a startup clock and still build something the next twenty engineers can work in.

Product Management

PMs and product leaders who hold the line between what the loudest customer asked for and what the business needs to become. Comfortable saying no with a reason attached.

Data & ML Engineering

The people who build the pipelines, evaluation, and infrastructure that make a data or AI product trustworthy in production, and who know the difference between a good demo and a good system.

How we screen

Technical hiring fails in its own particular ways.

We're recruiters, not your interview panel. Our job is to make sure the people who reach that panel are worth the panel's time.

01

Shipped, or just worked on?

Large-company résumés hide scope. We establish what the person actually owned, what they decided, and what would have gone differently without them.

02

Demo-grade or production-grade?

Especially in AI, there's a wide gap between building something impressive and building something that holds up under real traffic, real data, and real customer expectations.

03

Can they work at your headcount?

An engineer with a platform team behind them is a different hire from one who has to own deploys, on-call, and the customer conversation. We match on operating reality.

Where this practice fits

Common mandates.

  • The first senior engineer. The founders have built the thing; now it needs someone who can make it hold up while the founders go do other jobs.

  • The first product hire. Roadmap by loudest-customer is starting to cost you. You need someone to own prioritization without slowing shipping down.

  • Engineering leadership above an existing team. Delicate by definition. We handle these confidentially and help you think through the internal candidates first.

  • The specialist you can't interview. An ML or infrastructure hire where nobody in-house can assess depth. We bring in technical assessors alongside the search.

  • The commercial engineer. Someone who can sit in front of a customer, hear the real problem, and translate it back into the roadmap without a game of telephone.

Why a revenue firm recruits engineers

Because the two are the same problem. A revenue team can't sell a product that doesn't do what the buyer needs, and a product team can't prioritize well without hearing why deals are lost.

We've watched too many searches for a VP of Sales that should have been a search for a product leader. Covering both means we can tell you which one you actually need.

Industries we cover

Deepest in AI and B2B SaaS. Also active across fintech, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, healthtech, developer tools, and vertical software.

Other practices

Product doesn't ship into a vacuum.

The roadmap gets sold by one team and cleared for enterprise use by another. We recruit across all three so the handoffs aren't guesswork.
